3 Days from Marrakech to the Chegaga desert. Trip departure from Marrakech to the dunes of Chegaga. You enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Draa Valley. You will spend a night in the camp at the dunes of Chegaga. The Marrakech desert Chegaga trip will end in Marrakech.
► 3 Days from Marrakech to Chegaga desert itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Agdz
Departure from your accommodation in Marrakech at 7:30 am to Ouarzazate via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, continuation to reach the Telouat kasbah and that of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Then we continue to the film studios and the Kasbah of Taourirte in Ouarzazate.
After your lunch we leave for Agdz, here we will visit the kasbah of Tamnougalt. Dinner and overnight in a typical hotel.
Day 2: Agdz – Zagora – Mhamid – Chegaga
After breakfast we will visit the Koranic library of Tamgroute, then continue to the village of Mhamid, leading us to the large dunes of Chegaga, Arrival at the camp, after a camel ride, you will admire the magnificent sunset on the dunes, dinner and overnight in nomadic tents, starry sky observations.
Day 3: Chegaga – Eriki – Taznaht – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, return to Marrakech via the dry lake of Iriki, then we will pass by the Berber villages of Fam Zgide and Taznakht, here you will visit stores of Berber carpets made locally by women from the region. Then we drive to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas mountain. we will drop you off at your hotel in Marrakech at the end of the day.
