Day 1: Marrakech

Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy some free time to explore Marrakech at your own pace. You will have the opportunity to soak up the lively atmosphere of the city, visiting its famous souks, historic palaces and lush gardens. Meals will be free, allowing you to discover the local gastronomy at your leisure. Then, you will spend the night at the hotel, preparing to begin your Moroccan adventure the next day.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Bougmez Valley (300 km / 5h)

After your breakfast, you will be transferred by minibus to the Ait Bougmez valley. With a planned stop for lunch en route. Once arrived, the adventure will begin with the first stage by mountain bike to the village of Ait Imi. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque landscapes and immerse yourself in nature while discovering this magnificent region by bike. At the end of the day, you will settle into a lodge where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and spend a restful night, ready to continue your journey the next day.

Day 3: The upper valley of Zawyat Ahansal

After your breakfast, you will set off to cross the Ait Bougmez valley by mountain bike to Ifrane. This day will be punctuated by the passage of the Tizi’n Tirghist pass (2629 m). Followed by a descent towards the Assamsouq valley. You will take a picnic break before continuing your journey to the Tizi’n Tsali n’Imenaïn pass. Then you will descend to the village of Zawyat Ahansal. You will spend the night in a homestay, where you can rest comfortably after this busy day.

Day 4: The “cathedral rock”

You will start your day with a mountain bike descent along the Zawyat river. Crossing picturesque villages with their fortified granaries. Then, you will begin a gradual climb up the mountainside, offering breathtaking panoramas of the ocher cliffs of the Taghia cirque and the Mestefrane rock. The winding descent will ultimately take you to the village of Imi n’Ouareg, where you will spend the night at a local’s home, soaking up the authentic atmosphere of the region.

Day 5: The Anergui Valley

Your day will begin with a route along the Akhachane gorges, where a track carved into the rock runs alongside the wadi, offering a striking natural spectacle. You will also have the opportunity to observe the Magot monkeys who inhabit the surrounding cliffs. Then, you will arrive in the Anergui valley, renowned for its fortified villages steeped in history. You will continue your route to Ait Boulmane, along the Melloul assif, to finally settle in a comfortable inn where you will spend the night.

Day 6: The nomadic highlands of Imilchil

Your day will begin with a wild route, characterized by a steep road leading to ridges, offering spectacular panoramic views. You will then cross the Tingarf highlands, ancestral territories of the Ait Abdi and Ait Sukhmane nomads, where you will have the opportunity to discover their traditional way of life. After this immersion in nomadic culture, you will return to the track at the village of Tasraft, then you will continue your journey to Imilchil. At night, you will be welcomed into a comfortable hostel where you can rest and recharge after a day of adventure.

Day 7: Return to Marrakech

After completing your journey through the magnificent landscapes of the High Atlas, you will be transferred back to Marrakech by vehicle. Once you arrive, you will check into the hotel where you can relax and unwind after this enriching adventure. You will have the evening free to explore Marrakech at your leisure and enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the city’s many restaurants. Then, you will spend the night at the hotel, soaking up the unforgettable memories of your cycling trip in the High Atlas.

Day 8: Marrakech – Departure

As your departure approaches, we will arrange your transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule. Our team will ensure that you arrive at the airport in time for your departing flight, ensuring a stress-free journey until the end of your stay.
