8-day mountain bike tour in the Draa Valley
Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet
We transfer you from your accommodation or from the airport to Telouet in the High Atlas mountains. Once you arrive in Telouet, you will be warmly welcomed by our team dedicated to mountain biking. After a friendly presentation and enriching discussions, you will be escorted to your place of residence with the locals. There you will have the opportunity to sit comfortably and soak up the authentic atmosphere of this picturesque place. You will then be invited to a delicious dinner, showcasing the traditional flavors of local cuisine. Once satisfied, you can retire to your quarters to spend a restful night. Recharging your batteries for the day of mountain biking that awaits you tomorrow.
Day 2: Telouet – Ait ben haddou 50km by mountain bike
Once you have received your mountain bikes and are ready to go. You will embark on a captivating descent through the Ounila valley. This ride offers breathtaking panoramas at every turn, with breathtaking views of mountains and valleys that stretch as far as the eye can see. Each pedal stroke will bring you a little closer to your destination. The famous Kasbah Aït Ben Hadou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Once you arrive in Aït Ben Hadou, you will be warmly welcomed and can relax after your day of adventure. You will be served a delicious dinner, showcasing the rich and authentic flavors of Moroccan cuisine. You will spend the night in a charming inn, soaking up the magical atmosphere of this iconic place. And mentally preparing you for the rest of your cycling journey through the wonders of Morocco.
Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate 35km by mountain bike
After exploring the fascinating Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou. Our adventure will take us through the rugged trails and picturesque Berber villages that dot this iconic region of Morocco. Our journey will offer us the opportunity to discover up close the life and culture of the local inhabitants. As we make our way through these breathtaking landscapes.
Upon reaching the town of Ouarzazate, we will have the opportunity to further immerse ourselves in the authenticity of Berber life by spending the night with a local. This special moment will allow us to enjoy a delicious dinner composed of local specialties, prepared with care and generosity. This experience will offer us an authentic insight into Moroccan hospitality. and will allow us to rest and recharge our batteries after a day full of discoveries and emotions.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Agdz 50km by mountain bike
After a transfer by minibus to Agdz. We will begin our adventure by bike following the meanders of the Draa valley towards the village of Ouladed Outmane. As we cycle through these captivating landscapes. We will be enveloped by the serenity of the palm groves and oases that line our path. Upon our arrival at the oasis of Ouled Ohtmane. We will set up camp, soaking up the peaceful atmosphere of this preserved natural setting. This immersion in the heart of nature will offer us a real escape. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, as we prepare to spend a night under the stars, lulled by the gentle murmur of the wind in the palm trees.
Day 5: Ouled Outmane – Zagora 50 km
As we travel along the Draa valley. We will be enchanted by the diversity of landscapes that will be offered to us: from the picturesque Berber villages to the lush palm groves that line our route. We will have the privilege of discovering one of the largest palm groves in Morocco. Where the oases extend their greenery as far as the eye can see, creating a true oasis in the heart of the desert. An authentic immersion in local life also awaits us. As we wander through bustling markets to discover artisanal treasures and taste the region’s culinary delights. At the end of the day, we will find refuge in a comfortable hotel in Zagora. Ready to savor the wonders that still await us in this magnificent Moroccan region.
Day 6: We will finish the mountain bike ride in Zagora
When you reach the camp in the Zagora desert. You will instantly immerse yourself in a captivating atmosphere where time seems to stand still. The warm welcome from the desert locals and the majestic backdrop of the sand dunes will provide an authentic and memorable experience. The camel ride through the desert landscapes will allow you to appreciate the tranquility and grandeur of the Sahara, while the setting sun will paint the sky with warm and vibrant hues, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
After this escapade in the dunes. You will have the pleasure of relaxing in the camp. Where a peaceful and friendly atmosphere reigns. You will be welcomed with a delicious Berber dinner. After enjoying your breakfast, we will take care of your transfer to Marrakech. Along the way, we will stop for lunch in Ouarzazate, where you can taste delicious local foods and relax before hitting the road again. Once you arrive in Marrakech, prepare to be amazed by the beauty and dynamism of this fascinating city. You will be welcomed in a traditional riad where you can relax and soak up the enchanting atmosphere of the red city. Take advantage of your first evening in Marrakech to stroll through the lively streets of the medina, discover the colorful souks and marvel at the famous Jemaa el-Fna square. A restful night awaits you in this enchanting setting, a prelude to an in-depth exploration of the city the next day.
Day 8: Transfer to Marrakech airport
