5 Days from Fez to the desert and Marrakech

Departure from your accommodation in Fez towards the Merzouga desert. We will pass through the town of Ifrane and Azrou where we will stop to observe the monkeys in their natural habitat. Then we will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch in the afternoon. Afternoon, we will cross the Ziz valley towards Errachidia and Erfoud. Here we will stop to visit a fossil museum before continuing our route to Merzouga. Once you arrive, you will leave on the back of a camel to reach the camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will be able to admire the magnificent sunset and spend a memorable evening around a campfire, followed by a delicious dinner and a restful night under the stars in Berber tents.

After witnessing the magnificent spectacle of the sunrise and having our breakfast. We return to Merzouga on camels. Then we head to Rissani to explore the large market of Tafilalt and visit the mausoleum of Molay Ali Chrif Alaoui. Our journey then continues towards Erfoud and Tinjdad, with a stop at the impressive Todra gorges. After hiking in the gorges, we continue towards Tinghir and Boumalne, following the Dadès valley to the gorges. After lunch in the gorges, we head for Kella Mgouna. Renowned for its rose-based products.

Then, we continue our route to Skoura, where we visit the famous kasbah of Amridil. From there, we continue to Ouarzazate, stopping to admire the Taouririt kasbah and the film studios. Finally, we settle in for dinner and overnight in a hotel in the village of Ait Ben Haddou, soaking up the captivating atmosphere of this historic site.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou in the company of a local guide, delving into the fascinating history of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Once the exploration is complete, we will head towards Agdz, a charming town nestled along the Draa Valley. In Agdz, we will have the opportunity to discover the splendid Tamnougalt kasbah, a traditional fortress which testifies to the remarkable architecture of the region.

Then, our journey will continue following the Draa valley, famous for its lush palm groves and picturesque villages. We will cross breathtaking landscapes until reaching Zagora, where we will be welcomed in a luxury camp. There you can relax and enjoy a magical evening under the desert stars, punctuated by a delicious traditional Berber dinner. This authentic experience will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty and cultural richness of Morocco.

After a tasty breakfast at the camp, we continue our journey towards M’hamid, a quiet oasis nestled at the edge of the desert. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to explore the majestic dunes of Chegaga, offering breathtaking views and a captivating atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to soak up the serenity of the desert and contemplate the magnificent sunset which will tint the landscape with golden hues. Then we will settle comfortably at the camp where you can enjoy a peaceful evening under a starry sky, accompanied by a delicious Berber dinner. This unforgettable experience will allow you to fully connect with nature and experience the authenticity of the Moroccan desert.

After an invigorating breakfast, we begin our journey to Marrakech, crossing varied and picturesque landscapes. Our route will take us through Foum Zguid and the charming Berber village of Taznakht, renowned for its magnificent handcrafted Berber carpets. Next, we will continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, a fascinating city steeped in history and culture. Our journey will take us through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views of imposing peaks and lush green valleys. At the end of the day, we will arrive at your accommodation in Marrakech, where you can relax and enjoy your evening in this lively and enchanting city.
