► 3 Days from Fez to Merzouga Desert itinerary:
Day 1: Fez – Ifran – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
Departure from your accommodation in Fez to the desert of Merzouga, we will cross the city of Ifrane, and Azrou where we will stop to see the monkeys in nature, then we will continue to Midelt, here we will have our lunch, in the after -midday. Noon we cross the Ziz valley towards Errachidia and Erfoud, here we stop to visit a fossil museum, then we continue to Merzouga, you go by camel to see the bivouac in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, you admire the sunset sun and spend an excellent evening around a campfire, dinner and night in Berber tents.
Day 2: Merzouga
The day will begin with the spectacle of the sunrise, then you will have your breakfast, and we will return on camel back to the village to find our vehicle, we will then visit the village of Gnaouas, Lake Sarji, the Mines of Mifis, we will share tea with the nomads in their tents, After lunch we will return to Merzouga to return by camel to your bivouac, enjoy the sunset in the dunes, and a magnificent evening with Berber music at the camp. Dinner and overnight in Berber tents.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Fez
After breakfast you return to the village on camel back and we go to Rissani, here we will visit the big market of Tafilalt and the mausoleum of Molay Ali Cherif. Then we pass through Erfoud and the town of Errachidia. We then move on to the Middle Atlas, stop in Midelt for lunch, then drive through the cedar forest and the town of Ifrane to arrive at your accommodation in Fez at the end of the day.
